WHAT DOES NURTURING WITH LOVE STAND FOR?

 

    As a mom of 5 my heart is filled with love for my kids who are now almost all grown.  My youngest is 19!  I’ve been blessed with 7 of the sweetest grandbabies ever.  Through the years of raising babies, toddlers, teenagers and then standing to observe as they flew from the nest I have nurtured the hearts of my kids, but not without a few mistakes along the way.  Parenting is HARD work but the reward is overwhelming.

    I chose a career in nursing because of my desire to serve.  My entire career has been within the walls of obstetrics/mother/baby.  I’ve had amazing opportunities from sitting beside a laboring mom, comforting the mom who mourns a loss, celebrating the birth of a new baby, assisting with caring and learning about their precious bundle and teaching breastfeeding to new & seasoned moms.

​

    As a Lactation Consultant, I found my true joy.  I’ve spent countless hours designing feeding plans for each individual family, reassuring them when they begin to doubt, and cheering in celebration with the small victories.  No one ever said breastfeeding was easy, but I truly believe God designed me to have a servant’s heart who has compassion to truly listen to a mom and design a plan that is both encouraging of breastfeeding but works with a parent’s mental, emotional & physical health.

    So put my experience in all three of my jobs & you will see that nurturing has been a part of them all.  I’ve discovered through the years that a couple needs to be “nurtured” and understood so that I can help them in the best way.  It’s important to understand how they learn, accept when they say “no” QAand work through, go around or accept and challenge the handicaps that are met head on when a new baby arrives.

    Definition of Nurture:  (v) to take care of, feed, and protect someone or something, especially young children and help him, her, or it to develop.

​

    My company is the definition of nurture.  I am available to help with learning to care for your baby through breastfeeding as well as assisting parents in learning to care for their baby (bathing, diapering, feeding).  Through individual and/or group classes,  meeting one on one or designing a package that works for you, Nurturing With Love is about finding the best in each parent and working together to make the most treasured memories possible.  There’s no greater joy than to see the love a parent has for a child and it blesses me greatly to be able to offer my expertise to assist in the transition of adding a child into your life.

    Nurturing With Love, LLC is founded upon my belief that every child deserves to be nurtured and allowed to grow to become whatever their love of life leads them to be.  It’s designed for everyone and has no bias.  To nurture is to listen, love and embrace everyone, from every walk of life, and every lifestyle.  It’s meant to meet your challenges head on, find the solution and nurture the family in growing and building confidence for the future.
